As a real estate paralegal, you will assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including documentation, due diligence, closing and post-closing activities for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. You will be a member of the firm’s Real Estate department, reporting to the attorneys on your team. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Order and review title commitments, exception documents and surveys, interfacing directly with the title company and surveyor to resolve issues or discrepancies Prepare title objection letters and negotiate title policies Prepare and administer contract critical dates and closing checklists Coordinate and assist with closings, including preparation of conveyance documents, closing statements, and other closing documents Attend to post-closing requirements, including preparing closing indices, organizing closing binders, and monitoring post-closing deliveries Prepare clear and concise correspondence and memoranda Prepare initial draft documents, amendments to agreements or leases, and miscellaneous documents, including estoppel certificates, SNDAs and Memos of Lease for attorney review Review organizational and authority documents Order UCC lien and other searches What You Have
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. Law firm and in-house experience will be considered A Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook or similar calendar technology Legal research skills and knowledge of relevant databases Strong writing, organizational and communication skills What We Provide

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 annually, based on a 40 hour work week. This range applies to jobs in Boston. Compensation is determined by education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. This position is eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off and health insurance, and 401(k).
