Safety Ambassador – PT’s Taverns (Las Vegas, NV)
Summary
Ensure all guests who enter the facility are properly, safely, and effectively greeted, following all operating procedures and safety regulations. Provide a fun, hospitable, and safe experience for all guests and ensure they have a positive experience. Follow all security operations and safety procedures without fail and provide exemplary guest service. Consistently demonstrate prompt, courteous, professional service and helpful behavior when interacting with all guests, vendors, and fellow team members.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Ensure guests entering the property are greeted and ID’s are checked; all must be at least 21 years of age to enter the facility.
Screen guests who show signs of illness for fever and follow proper protocol if guests appear ill or have a fever.
Maintain head counts of guests entering and exiting the premises to ensure capacity limits are maintained.
Effectively communicate directions.
Keep work areas clean and presentable.
Maintain a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions) appropriate to the situation at hand and contact management as the situation dictates.
Accurately answer guests’ questions regarding the property, special events, and other Golden Entertainment products and services.
Ensure unique needs or assistance is provided to all guests requiring special attention.
Perform all duties with an upbeat and positive attitude while maintaining a neat, well–groomed, and professional appearance.
Maintain familiarity with current life safety systems and emergency evacuation procedures, as well as procedures for handling uncooperative guests and potentially dangerous situations.
Consistently follow all operating, safety, and emergency evacuation procedures.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a high‑volume guest contact position.
Previous experience interacting with guests without scripted conversation.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain calm under pressure and emergency situations.
Excellent guest service skills.
Ability to effectively read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
Verify right to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work for continuous time periods in extreme heat and cold.
Regularly walk, stand, stoop or sit at a desk or table.
Ability to jog or run as situations dictate.

Speech, literacy, hearing and vision (critical).
Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding and ramps.
Ability to distinguish shades of color.
Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
