Catering Sales Manager
is responsible for driving catering and event sales while providing outstanding client service. This role combines relationship building, strategic sales planning, and event coordination to ensure every guest experience exceeds expectations. Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve catering and event revenue goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and local businesses. Conduct site tours, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts for weddings, corporate events, and special functions. Collaborate closely with the catering, banquet, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution. Track sales activity, prepare reports, and analyze trends to optimize business opportunities. Represent Mountain View Grand Hotel at trade shows, networking events, and community functions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of catering or event sales experience, preferably in luxury or resort settings. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously. Knowledge of event management and CRM software is a plus. Why Join Us
