Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston Care Center of Sylvania, OH Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN | On-Site | Ohio License Required

is seeking a passionate
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll help residents enhance communication, improve swallowing, and strengthen cognitive skills in a supportive, resident-focused environment in Sylvania, Ohio.
Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
Conduct assessments, diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, and create individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy sessions for speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication challenges
Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately in the EHR system
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals, safe swallowing practices, and communication strategies
Maintain compliance with Ohio regulations and Kingston’s standards of care
Qualifications – What You Bring
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab experience preferred (but new grads encouraged to apply)
Strong communication, assessment, and clinical documentation skills
Compassionate, resident-first approach with a focus on achieving meaningful outcomes
