Job Description for the role of Project Manager at SERVPRO of Stamford, serving the Fairfield County (Norwalk, CT) area. We seek a self-motivated individual to contribute to helping make fire, water, and mold damage “Like it never even happened®!” As a Project Manager, you will join a team focused on excellent service, fairness, and mutual respect. This role is suited for someone with superb interpersonal skills, reliability, and a drive to exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities

Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates using Xactimate, XACTanalysis, DocuSketch, MICA and other proprietary software. Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate. Obtain properly executed Authorization to Perform Services and Direction of Payment (Service Contract). 'Draft daily work orders on all projects; communicate and coordinate crews and resources (sub-contractors) to provide service on active projects.' Review and maintain job site documentation to support services and ensure proper client requirements and billing process in Drybook / Work Center 2. Maintain written communication with customers, COO, Office Coordinators, and other team members, vendors and insurance adjusters via email and phone. Manage sub-contractor invoices for jobs. On-call responsibilities weekday and weekend rotation, which are calendared. Additional Responsibilities

Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews. Provide priority emergency response to potential customers. Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs ensuring customer needs are met. Evaluate and sell projects. Educate customers on process. Oversee scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews following SERVPRO Franchise production guidelines. Other

Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management. Daily Work in Progress (WIP) Meeting attendance is required. Company monthly team meeting attendance is required. Requirements, Desired Knowledge, and Skills

5 years of experience in restoration and/or construction preferred. 5 years of project management experience required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. IICRC certification preferred. Experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Strong ownership of each project and urgency to complete them. Strong management and people skills; detail-oriented and able to work within a budget. Construction supervision experience necessary. Physical ability to bend, sit, stand, and lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to successfully complete a background check as permitted by law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and franchise-specific software (e.g., Xactimate, XactAnalysis). Previous insurance claims processing and insurance industry experience preferred. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills; strong organizational and planning abilities. Ability to adapt under demanding conditions and manage numerous projects concurrently. Excellent listening and communication skills; customer-focused. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-call-volume, team-oriented environment. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. 8-hour day / 40 hours per week Monday to Friday On-call rotation due to 24/7 emergency services Occasional night and weekend work required Working Conditions

Environment: In-office and in the field; not eligible for hybrid or remote work. Ability to commute: Norwalk, CT 06851 (reliable commute or relocation before starting).
