FGA is currently seeking a Controls Engineer with specific Ford BIW Start-Up Experience
with a passion for automation and a desire to advance their career. We have multiple openings across North America and Canada, offering the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Promote and comply with all safety standards
Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
Support electrical and software design as needed
Configure interference zones, I/O, and vision systems
Perform robot setup including mastering, TCP, payload, and offline programs
Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
Work with Fanuc robots (required); experience with ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki, and Nachi is an asset
Apply experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
Utilize Fanuc DCS building tool models and confirm adequate setup per customer standards
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
2–5 years of experience as a Ford BIW Robotics Start-Up Engineer
Must Have
experience in the automotive Ford standards (Next Gen/GVOSS)
Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering or programming field
Extensive commissioning experience in automotive body shop environment
Ability to travel to customer sites across North America and Canada
Valid passport and driver’s license
Eligibility for a TN Visa
