Job Description - Event Manager - The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Resort (HOT0C2LM) The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, is seeking an Event Manager to join the team. Our luxury hotel offers Southern hospitality, world-class service and historic surroundings. The hotel is located near the French Quarter and within walking distance to Jackson Square, Bourbon Street and the Arts & Warehouse District. The property features 504 rooms, over 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and five food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, a cafe, seasonal rooftop bar, and in-room dining). Work Location : The Roosevelt Hotel, 130 Roosevelt Way, New Orleans, LA 70112 In this role, you will report to the Director of Events and Catering. The ideal candidate will have experience in events with a focus on weddings and corporate events, with a passion to grow in events, initiative and superb attention to detail. Responsibilities

Provide direction and supervision to departments to ensure successful execution of meetings and/or events Serve on-site group and catering clients and respond to questions about the event including, but not limited to, weddings, galas, group room blocks, food and beverage, the function space, ancillary and vendor services, affiliates/exhibitors and related billing processes Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly Respond to guest inquiries and special requests and resolve issues and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Prepare reports, correspondence and analysis related to group activity Lead, facilitate and participate in meetings, as needed Qualifications
