Job Summary The Multifamily Asset Manager will play a crucial role in the management and optimization of PPR Capital Management's national build-to-rent and multifamily asset portfolio. This individual will report to the Senior Manager, Multifamily Investments and be responsible for asset-level surveillance, including monitoring leasing activities, assessing financial performance, and providing recommendations for executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Surveillance: Monitor and analyze property performance, including occupancy, rental growth, capital expenditure business plans, expenses and social media/website. Conduct in-person site visits as required per internal policies and procedures to ensure effective oversight.

Property Operations: Collaborate with property management teams as often as necessary to ensure effective operations, adherence to budgets, and proper reporting.

Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze property financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Assist in property forecasting and conduct variance analyses.

Risk Management: Working with the Portfolio Management team, identify major potential risk factors over planned holding period and maintain risk avoidance/mitigation/acceptance matrix for all properties.

Relationship Management: Maintain and develop relationships with property sponsors, property management, debt providers, brokerages, and CRE consulting firms.

Property Reporting: Complete comprehensive financial and operational reports for each property. Work with the IT team to ensure proper data validation and storage. Provide more qualitative reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or a related field.

At least three years of experience in multifamily asset management with exposure to private equity fund and deal structure.

Strong understanding of property management principles and practices.

Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
