Mid-Level Software Quality Engineer

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Mid-Level Software Quality Engineer** to join the **Software Quality** team located in **Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.** This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. Our team of highly-motivated, customer-focused SQEs partner with integrated program teams to help develop and maintain a culture of first-time quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). As a member of this team, you have the autonomy and responsibility to work with programs to assure the right process for developing, controlling, and verifying software products is planned and complied with, and effectively improving the quality of our software products provided by suppliers.The selected candidate will partner with various Software Engineering teams to support the software development within the BDS Mobility & Surveillance programs. A successful candidate will collaborate with peers within the Software Engineering enterprise to assure first-time Quality and should have a broad background in software development practices, tools, and processes. Experience with Agile and knowledge of quality standards (e.g. AS9115) is strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are crucial for success.**Position Responsibilities:** Assists with verification of test results to performance requirements**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):**2+ years of experience with the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements, Design, Code, Integration & Test) 1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) Experience using Agile software development **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** 4+ years of experience with the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements, Design, Code, Integration & Test) 3+ years of software quality engineering applied experience including knowledge of MIL-STD-882E, DO-178 and/or AS9115 Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools**Pay & Benefits:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
