We have retail customers across North America and team members in about every U.S. state. You may work at a retail grocery store, support new cereal innovations, or collaborate with teammates at a corporate office.

Responsibilities

Joining the PCB Sales Team as the Senior Account Manager of Costco & BJs offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of leading brands in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This role drives sales growth, market share, and long-term partnerships with key retailers. You will leverage your sales expertise to influence major business decisions and drive profitable growth within a supportive and innovative environment that provides opportunities for professional development and career advancement. This individual will manage sales activities for Costco and BJs, ensuring sales volume and profit goals are achieved. The Senior Account Manager reports to the Director of Sales for Club and prioritizes, plans, and organizes their own work to achieve annual corporate objectives. Responsibilities include achieving sales volume and profit targets within Costco and BJs, improving year-over-year sales, and developing new business within assigned retailers. Collaborate with the Category Management resource to generate actionable recommendations across product, pricing, promotion, and placement. Customize strategy and execute aligned efforts through effective communication and influence to drive growth. The ideal candidate should leverage customer relationship management, business analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving to recognize and anticipate issues and opportunities, and to develop and sell actionable strategic solutions. Responsibilities and Key Job Duties: Sell products/new items and programs to Costco and BJs. Direct selling responsibility and relationship management for assigned accounts, including regional buying teams. Coordinate work and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners including Category Management, Customer Service, Trade Planning, BLG, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Accounting/Revenue Management. Identify and capitalize on business opportunities and challenges by proposing solutions, contingency plans, and action steps. Respond rapidly to customer issues on a day-to-day basis (distribution needs, Plan-O-Gram needs, retail problems, etc.); negotiate solutions to reconcile differences between PCB and Costco + BJs over pricing, volume, etc. Analyze and utilize market data (industry and account information, syndicated and consumer data, demographic data, etc.) to educate assigned customer decision-makers and increase sales volume. Partner with demand planning and sales support to develop and provide sales/promotional forecast data and input SKU data into the Trade Planning System. Develop and maintain account relationships, facilitate participation in organizational programs, and maintain open communication with assigned accounts. Work with cross-functional groups to modify promotional/marketing programs and develop account-specific programs to meet unique requirements of assigned customers. Manage contracts for assigned customers and authorize performance payments. Manage and optimize trade funding to maximize spend + ROI, remaining within the allotted budgets for each fiscal year. Coordinate the sales planning calendar for assigned customers. Work Environment:

The Senior Account Manager will work in a remote environment and be expected to connect effectively via virtual tools and platforms within the working hours of Central & Eastern Standard Time. Travel to PCB headquarters in Lakeville, MN and to requisite retailer headquarters locations may be required. The role involves close collaboration with various sales team members, brand partners, CS&E team members, and key retailers. Candidate will use tools such as Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI, Spectra, Panel Data) and Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and presentation. Use of AI is a plus.

Qualifications

Education:

4-year bachelor’s degree required Experience:

7+ years in the CPG industry in Sales, Category Management, Business Analytics and/or Insights; understanding selling/marketing processes for large retailers; Costco sales experience is a plus. Skills: Leadership and selling/negotiation skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and experience in sales/product forecasting. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication with solid follow-through. Problem-solving, analytical, and self-management skills; ability to set priorities and manage details. Experience in sales support positions (trade management, category management, consumer marketing) is desirable. Proficiency in Nielsen Syndicated data, PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrated drive for results, collaboration, and ability to build influential partnerships with customers and cross-functional teams. Travel:

25-50% (as needed to meet business needs) Location:

Remote, home office position with access to a major airport required The pay range for this position is $99,119 - $154,626 per year.
