Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our supportive and mission-driven team. This hybrid role offers a blend of in-home and school/daycare-based therapy, with teletherapy opportunities becoming available as our services grow. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time as your caseload expands.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs and goals Provide direct therapy to children with articulation, phonological, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and pragmatic communication disorders Deliver services in homes, schools, and daycares (with occasional teletherapy as available) Educate and collaborate with families to promote generalization of skills and effective home carryover Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in accordance with ASHA and state guidelines Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Communicate and collaborate with other professionals, caregivers, and administrators as needed

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (required) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or in-home settings Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt therapy methods to the child’s needs Bilingual applicants are highly encouraged to apply, but it is not a requirement
