At Intuitive Kids Therapy, we believe in delivering high-quality, play-based speech and language therapy that empowers children to become confident communicators. Our bilingual team provides therapy in natural environments — homes, schools, and daycares — where therapy feels engaging, effective, and meaningful. You will have the opportunity to gain in-home experience and deliver direct therapy with children while also educating and consulting with parents to support carryover. Most of our services are currently provided in person, with plans to offer teletherapy in the future. We are a company that values creativity and flexibility. Therapists are encouraged to use their clinical judgment and design sessions in the way they believe will best meet each child’s needs. Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our supportive and mission-driven team. This hybrid role offers a blend of in-home and school/daycare-based therapy, with teletherapy opportunities becoming available as our services grow. This is a part-time role that can develop into full-time as we fill your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized therapy plans developed by licensed SLPs Provide direct therapy to children with speech and language delays, articulation challenges, and communication disorders Deliver services in homes, schools, and daycares Educate and consult with families to support progress outside of sessions Collect data and document progress after each session Collaborate with your supervising SLP and follow ASHA guidelines for supervision and clinical support
Qualifications
Active SLPA license in California (required) Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or childcare settings Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with articulation techniques and early intervention practices We welcome bilingual applicants, but it is not a requirement for this position
