Description **PENDING CONTRACT AWARD** SUMMARY The Procurement Specialist, Repairs will be responsible for overseeing all phases of outsourcing part maintenance, repair, overhaul, and delivery, as well as adherence to all AAR policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages, Plans, creates, organizes, tracks, and expedites the outsourcing of part repair Develops, evaluates, recommends, and manages repair vendors, ongoing relationships, and quality. Review, negotiate, approve vendor quotes, and support management of vendor contractual obligations Periodically analyze and discuss program performance periodically Meet or exceed all Procurement Key Performance Indicators Communicate with various departments to manage the timely flow of parts (e.g. Program Management, Operations, Accounts Payable, Shipping, Quality, etc.) Perform vendor and order management for assigned parts to proactively ensure customer commitments are maintained Ensure each transaction is compliant with all purchasing policies and procedures Support various departments with and participate in government and regulatory audits Suggest and participate in continuous improvement activities to drive process efficiencies All other duties as assigned CORE COMPETENCIES Business Savvy Change of Direction Diverse Mindset Building relationships and partnerships Focus Accountability Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, Government contracting, or aviation procurement strongly preferred Advanced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
