About the Role : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team.

Responsibilities :

Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment. Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography. Has the ability to modify procedures, to meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis.

Qualifications :

Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer Upon hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or Upon hire: National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Required Skills :

Associate's degree: Applied Science, from a CAAHPE accredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography. One year: Experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations, OR Minimum of 800 exams using all imaging modalities available. Pediatric echocardiography experience. Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart failure patients (mechanical support devices). Experience with echo guided trans-catheter procedures.

Pay range and compensation package : Base Salary up to $144,300 per annum. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
