Job Description

The Quick Lane Manager oversees the daily operations of the Quick Lane Service Department, ensuring that all maintenance and light-repair work is performed efficiently, accurately, and with outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for mentoring technicians and service advisors.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in service management or lane leadership, excellent communication skills, and a drive to create a smooth, customer-focused experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the Quick Lane department

Supervise, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians

Ensure all maintenance work meets Ford and dealership standards

Monitor workflow, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Schedule and assign repair orders to technicians based on skill and workload

Oversee parts ordering and ensure timely availability for scheduled services

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service environment

Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally

Track key performance metrics and drive department profitability

Collaborate with the Service and Parts Managers to improve processes and service flow

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Quick Lane Manager, Service Advisor, or Team Lead preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to multitask and manage a busy service lane

Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair procedures

Experience with DMS or CRM systems (Dealertrack, CDK, or Reynolds & Reynolds preferred)

Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
