Job Description
Oversee day-to-day operations within the construction department to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals in the property industry. Monitor project progress and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to optimize workflows. Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives. Analyze operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in the construction sector. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster a productive work environment. The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Operations should have:
Proven experience in operations management within the construction or property industry. Current experience at a general contractor in the commercial construction industry. Experience with Construction Project Management. Experience running operations at the director level. Experience with projects in excess of $25M in value. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders. A results-driven mindset with the ability to handle multiple projects effectively. Relevant educational background in construction management, business administration, or a related field. What's on Offer
