Job Summary

The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, with a particular focus on Health Cloud within the healthcare payer and insurance domain.

This role requires strong expertise in architecting, coding, and solutioning Salesforce systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare data standards.

The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Omnistudio, and enterprise-scale integrations, working closely with both onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities Architect and promote Salesforce technology solutions ensuring alignment with both functional and non-functional requirements. Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring efficient configuration and customization using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components (LWC). Develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications while maintaining best coding and engineering practices. Lead and mentor development teams, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to standards and best practices. Work on Health Cloud implementations, including data modeling, interoperability, and compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR). Engage in system integrations using SOAP/REST services, Bulk API, and Metadata API. Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams on Salesforce data modeling and solution design. Create detailed design documentation, test cases, and technical specifications. Conduct peer reviews, technical assessments, and mentoring of developers to drive technical excellence. Interface directly with customers to influence solution design and ensure delivery performance. Contribute to knowledge management, innovation, and process improvements. Participate in performance measurement activities including schedule adherence, quality standards, and compliance. Required Qualifications

12–18 years of total IT experience, with at least 9 years in Salesforce.com architecture, development, and solutioning. Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC), and Salesforce administration/configuration. Minimum of 3 Health Cloud implementation projects (each at least 6 months). Must have worked extensively in the healthcare domain, especially in the payer/insurance space. Expertise in Omnistudio, Experience Cloud, and large-scale system integrations. Strong knowledge of Salesforce data models, particularly for Health Cloud and external objects. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, Mulesoft). Proficiency in database development, SQL/PL-SQL, and working with large Salesforce implementations (10,000+ users). Solid understanding of Salesforce coding best practices, limitations, and deployment using change sets/ANT tools. Strong communication and mentoring skills with experience working in onsite-offshore coordination. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of interoperability and compliance standards such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR. Experience designing integrations between Salesforce Health Cloud and EHR, EMR, Utilization, and Care Management platforms. Experience with Salesforce mobile development, Heroku, Radian6, Analytics, and Einstein. Familiarity with HTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery), and object-oriented programming (J2EE/.NET). Experience with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and cloud-based solution architecture. Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, Big Data, and Cloud platforms. Certifications

Mandatory: Salesforce Platform Developer II and at least two Architect-stream certifications. Preferred: Advanced Administrator (ADM 301), Salesforce Consultant (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud), and Omnistudio Consultant certifications.
