Position Summary:

Essential Functions

• Provide general administrative support to the Tax team and leadership. • Assist with project initiation and route client documents for preparation (SurePrep, Outsource, or internal). • Coordinate with clients and Client Service Managers to schedule project delivery dates. • Restore QuickBooks files for tax preparation. • Create and manage engagement letters; obtain client signatures prior to project start. • Contact clients to ensure requested documents are received and follow up on missing items. • Support the production and delivery of client organizers. • Help coordinate internal and external planning meetings with clients. • Maintain project status in Office Tools and assist with updates. • Add items to engagement binders and tax preparation software. • Assist with processing and delivery of tax returns; confirm delivery methods with Client Service Managers. • Ensure project roll-forwards for subsequent year planning. • Contribute to a positive and organized office environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in administrative support or office management (experience in a professional services or accounting firm is a plus). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfortable with technology and learning new software. • Professional demeanor and a team-oriented attitude. • Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality support.
