Akkodis is seeking a

Network Administrator

for a

Contract

with a client in

Charlotte, NC.

The candidate will manage and support enterprise telecommunication systems, ensuring secure and compliant operations across platforms like Avaya CM, Cisco Unity Voicemail, and RedSky E911.

Rate Range:

$41/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Administrator job responsibilities include:

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal uptime and data protection. Manage user access and permissions, including VPN setup, IP management, and network authentication protocols. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing to safeguard network data and infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support network upgrades, expansions, and troubleshooting efforts. Document network configurations, changes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in network administration or IT infrastructure support. Strong hands-on experience with configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Proven ability to monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure compliance with security protocols and organizational standards. Pay Details:

$41.00 to $60.00 per hour
