Shifts: Openings on 1st and 2nd shift!

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate advanced mechanical know-how and have a solid grasp of machine design, repair, and preventative maintenance. Experience with PLCs or electrical systems is a notable advantage. Success as a maintenance professional means working independently, prioritizing multiple tasks, and applying your troubleshooting skills to resolve issues efficiently. Your ability to interpret blueprints, create repair plans, and fabricate parts when needed will be vital. You'll also have the chance to mentor lower-level technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key requirements include:

High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Valid lockout/tagout (LOTO) certification. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude; knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Basic PC skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Welding experience and PLC knowledge are beneficial. Main responsibilities involve: Setting up and operating metalworking tools like lathes, drills, and grinders. Performing routine preventative maintenance such as lubrication, part replacement, and cleaning. Diagnosing and repairing machinery issues, including motors, sensors, relays, and electrical components. Using test equipment and software to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Creating material orders, work plans, and documenting all maintenance activities accurately. Ensuring a safe work environment by following established safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures. Fabricating replacement parts or guards to facilitate repairs. Collaborating with team members to complete assigned projects and support continuous process improvements.
