As a key contributor, you'll support daily manufacturing activities, develop strategies for process enhancements, and ensure operational excellence across multiple production segments. Your hands-on experience with CNC machinery, coupled with your ability to analyze workflow and implement improvements, will be instrumental in elevating our client's manufacturing capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- 2+ years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience.
- At least 3 to 6 months of hands-on CNC machining experience, including programming, troubleshooting, and tooling.
- Strong computer literacy and effective communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives, cost reduction, and automation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, standard work instructions, and FMEA development.
- Analyze and optimize production workflows, suggesting modifications to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead efforts to implement process improvements with a focus on safety, quality, and cost.
- Design and enforce process controls to ensure consistent, reliable results.
- Manage the creation of standard work procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct time studies, develop labor standards, and analyze operational data.
- Develop capital equipment justifications for process upgrades.
- Operate CNC machinery to troubleshoot, test tooling, and adjust programs.
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain process FMEAs and drive corrective actions.
- Support safety initiatives by designing and implementing safety improvements.
