Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: December 1, 2025 – End: March 1, 2026) Shift: 12-hour day shifts (0645-1915), no scheduled call Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Nursing – CVICU RN Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470-$1570 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU experience Expertise in cardiovascular surgery recovery and advanced cardiac monitoring Proficiency with IABP, Impella, and PA catheter CRRT (PrismaFlex) experience preferred Immediate post-op CABG recovery experience highly desirable CVICU RN Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery in the CVICU Monitor and manage advanced cardiac devices including IABP, Impella, and PA catheters Deliver immediate post-op care for CABG patients Utilize CRRT (PrismaFlex) for patient support as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety Apply now to join our healthcare team in Arlington, Texas and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
