Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm. (First 2 weeks will train on day shift 9:00am - 5:30pm)
$16.50/hr.
Role and Responsibilities
The Floor cleaner will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will operate equipment to maintain the upkeep of all floors, and you will wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.
- Cleaning warehouse floors, break areas, restrooms & other common areas.
- Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, & other general maintenance needed to maintain the floors.
- Tend to cardboard recycling and trash throughout the building
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
- Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Other janitorial duties as assigned.
- Floor maintenance experience: 1 year
- The ability to operate floor maintenance equipment including floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, walk behind floor scrubbers, etc.: 1 year
- Janitorial experience: 1 year
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish.
