REPORTS TO: Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) High School Diploma G.E.D. Certificate
2) Utilizes proper language and grammatical skills
3) Ability to use and communicate effectively through technology

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed, and put it into usable form.

2) Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process incoming
correspondence as instructed.

3) Order and maintain office and teachers supplies as needed.

4) Perform any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.

5) Maintain a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences and interviews.

6) Perform the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, yet productive, and
smoothly-run office; such as, maintain log of visitors, daily teacher attendance log, and a
record for substitute teachers.

7) Maintain such student records as shall be required.

8) Receive and route all incoming calls and mail.

9) Assist teachers in the operation or supervision of the copier machine.

10) Place necessary data in the computer including, but not limited to, student records
and attendance.

11) Greet and assist parents, students, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

12) Handle student check-ins, tardy slips, and early dismissals; update attendance records
accordingly.
13) Maintain emergency contact information and assist during drills or emergencies.
14) Support the registration and withdrawal process for new and transferring students.

15) Prepare and distribute school correspondence, bulletins, newsletters, calendars, and
announcements; collect and organize information for regular staff and parent updates.
16) Assist in preparing required district and state reports, including enrollment, attendance, and
compliance documentation.

17) Maintain confidentiality with sensitive student, staff, and family information.
18) Collect and record student fees, fundraising money, transportation, or field trip funds.
19) Maintain petty cash and balance monthly reports as directed by the district office.
20) Serve as a central point of communication, relaying accurate information between staff, parents,
and administration.
21) Assist with safety and security procedures (Raptor, sign-in systems, etc.).
22) Enter and update data in student information systems (PowerSchool).
23) Generate attendance, enrollment, and grade reports as requested.
24) Responsible for working with all District personnel to provide a harmonious operation
of the School District.

25) Perform any and all duties as requested by the building principal.

All vacation time must be taken during non-attendance days unless special approval is obtained.

SALARY:

As determined by the Board of Education

EVALUATION:

Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's
Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel
