Software Engineer (DevOps) – CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
Location: Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Utah, Florida, Hawaii (Contract and work locations).
Base pay range: $150,000 – $235,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph
At least five (5) years of direct-relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related discipline) or five years of relevant experience as substitution
Solid understanding of DevOps and experience managing development, deployment, and integrated test tools
Experience with CI/CD frameworks and a minimum of 5 years managing tools for deployment and testing
System Administration experience (Windows and Linux)
Experience with Java, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Bash scripting, JavaScript, AngularJS
Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, WebStorm
Experience with software source control and configuration management tools
Experience with virtualized environments and container-based platforms for automated application deployment
Strong understanding of sound software development principles and practices
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Independent thinker capable of high-quality work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to support the team sprint goals
Nice to Have
Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server
Experience with Web Application UI development, Spring Framework, AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT
Experience with Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and certifications
