Overview of the role: As the Head of PR, Consumer & Ads, which includes the InMobi Advertising platform and Glance, you’ll be at the heart of telling our story to the world. You will craft and deliver compelling narratives that elevate our brand reputation across consumer, retail, technology, and advertising audiences. By leading integrated communications strategies across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels, you’ll amplify our presence and impact globally. This is a role for a strategic communicator who thrives on building relationships and shaping conversations. You bring exceptional media and analyst connections, sharp editorial instincts, and the ability to create thought leadership that influences the industry. Partnering closely with leadership, marketing, and product teams, you’ll guide high‑impact campaigns and navigate opportunities and challenges to keep our brand strong, consistent, and trusted. Strategic Communications, Media & Analyst Relations

Develop and execute multi‑channel PR strategies for both consumer and B2B audiences. Lead integrated earned and paid media campaigns, ensuring consistency and amplification across channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, industry analysts, influencers, and key opinion leaders in advertising, tech, and content. Oversee analyst relations programs to ensure accurate, positive representation in industry reports and rankings. Content Creation & Thought Leadership

Produce high‑quality, editorially strong content, including press materials, executive bylines, case studies, reports, and whitepapers. Drive thought leadership initiatives that position InMobi and Glance executives as recognized industry authorities in AI‑driven retail, AdTech, innovation, marketing, and consumer engagement. Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and product teams to ensure messaging cohesion and brand voice consistency. Campaign Execution & Agency Management

Plan and execute product launches, brand campaigns, media briefings, and press events across the US and global markets. Partner with and manage PR agencies to deliver impactful results aligned with brand priorities. Integrate PR efforts with marketing campaigns for maximum reach and measurable outcomes. Monitoring, Analysis & Reporting

Track media coverage, sentiment, competitor narratives, and industry trends to refine PR and analyst relations strategies. Provide actionable insights and performance reports to leadership. Crisis & Reputation Management

Lead crisis communication planning and execution to protect corporate reputation. Provide strategic counsel to executives during sensitive or high‑pressure situations. The experience we need:

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. 8–10+ years of experience in PR or integrated communications, with proven success in both consumer and B2B sectors. Core Competencies

Editorial excellence with a track record of securing high‑quality earned coverage and producing compelling written content. Demonstrated experience managing integrated paid + earned media initiatives. Established media and analyst relationships in consumer tech, retail, AdTech, and AI technologies. Strong agency management experience (agency background preferred). Proven experience with thought leadership programs and executive profiling. Proficiency in PR and analytics tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack). Skilled in crisis management with the ability to navigate high‑pressure scenarios. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of AI‑driven marketing, programmatic advertising, mobile ecosystems, and connected content. Global communications experience across multiple regions. What we build

Compensation

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $180,000 USD to $270,000 USD (min to max of base salary pay range). This salary range is applicable for our offices located in California and New York. In addition to cash compensation, employees may receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
