The General Manager position contributes to McDonald's success by leading a team of crew to create and maintain an exceptional experience for both customers and crew. Responsibilities include supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the store’s financial performance, and overseeing safety and security.

Key Responsibilities

Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together.

Demonstrating a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to manage smooth transitions and keep the store operating to standard.

Displaying a customer‑first attitude by training and holding the crew accountable for delivering legendary customer service.

Driving the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to meet operational and organizational objectives.

Managing with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of JADT Food Group LLC.

Planning, identifying, communicating, and delegating appropriate responsibilities and practices to ensure smooth flow of operations.

Providing coaching and direction to the store team to act and achieve operational goals, constantly reviewing the store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

Planning and Execution

Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group.

Monitoring and managing store staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition.

Utilizing existing tools to identify and prioritize communications; filtering communications to the store team.

Ensuring adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt crew and minors.

Soliciting customer feedback to understand customer needs and the local community.

Using all operational tools (Labor Scheduling, RDM Development, cash management, inventory management) to plan for and achieve operational excellence.

Utilizing management information tools and analyzing financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.

Development & Team Building

Providing crew with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams.

Actively managing store crew by conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals.

Managing ongoing crew performance using performance management tools to support organizational objectives.

Challenging and inspiring crew to achieve business results.

Developing and maintaining positive relationships with crew in the organization.

Ensuring crew adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

Recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments through existing and innovative methods of recognition.
