Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Our client, a based client, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their growing team. This is a full-time role, but the client's method of onboarding is consultant-to-hire.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes

Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data

Prepare internal management reports and financial analysis

Support annual audit and preparation of audit schedules

Assist in compliance with federal, state, and private funding requirements

Help maintain internal controls and accounting policies

Partner with the finance team to improve systems, policies, and processes

Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required

CPA or CPA track preferred

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Seniority level Mid-Senior level
