Job Responsibilities
Develop industry-specific solutions through direct engagement with customers, leading value discovery sessions
Analyze prospective clients' critical business issues to demonstrate AspenTech’s software capabilities
Lead consultative sessions to define solution roadmaps and implementation strategies
Act as a trusted advisor, building compelling business cases for investment in AspenTech solutions
Stay updated on industry trends and work with sales teams to identify and qualify business opportunities
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in consulting, technology solutions, and/or process industries (e.g., petrochemical, refining, specialty chemicals, metals & mining)
Relevant technical qualifications such as a BSc in Engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and reliability products and digital technologies (e.g., Cloud, Data Management, ML/AI)
Strong understanding of process industry economics and safety, environmental, and sustainability challenges
English language proficiency; fluency in a second language is advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consulting, pre-sales, or professional services within process industries
Ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems effectively
Motivated, self-driven, and agile with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Regional experience within Europe and the UK, with occasional global engagement
