Job Summary The Regional Vice‑President of Construction will leverage fiber optic construction, networking, and project management experience to assist the Project Management team with tracking, reporting, and key metrics across hundreds of concurrent projects. You will manage multiple teams spanning a vast build area.

Essential Functions Strategic Leadership & Regional Oversight

Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with overall business and operational objectives.

Lead the successful delivery of telecommunications‑based construction projects, including dark fiber, lit transport, Internet service, and fiber‑to‑the‑home initiatives, from concept through completion.

Ensure construction management teams execute projects according to approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Provide clear direction and performance oversight to ensure alignment with company goals and customer expectations.

Operational Management & Reporting

Create and maintain regional performance reports, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for project delivery, cost control, safety, and quality assurance.

Identify and proactively address potential risks, challenges, and capacity constraints within the region.

Ensure all projects are accurately invoiced and delivered within budget.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to schedule project deliverables and maintain alignment across functions.

Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to develop, streamline, and optimize processes that improve efficiency and service delivery.

Work with cross‑functional teams to track progress, gather updates, and maintain accurate project status records.

Data Integrity & Process Management

Maintain data integrity across all project documentation and reporting repositories.

Develop a deep understanding of all relevant systems, tools, and processes (reporting, capacity management, ticketing platforms).

Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational transparency and accountability.

Field Engagement & Oversight

Travel within assigned regional markets to support construction practices, ensure compliance, and strengthen relationships with local teams and stakeholders.

Promote safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all construction activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise one or more employees, carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Master’s preferred, not required.

• Minimum of fifteen years of combined experience in OSP construction, fiber network deployment, and project management, including at least ten years in leadership roles and five years managing lower‑level leaders or supervisors.

Technical Proficiency • Five (5) years of experience using GIS systems (preferred).

• Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.

• Proficiency with enterprise project management platforms such as Microsoft Project required.

Leadership & Management

Demonstrated success in organizational leadership, driving accountability, and aligning large cross‑functional teams toward strategic goals.

Ability to manage multiple fast‑moving, high‑impact construction projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule integrity.

Skilled in tracking, analyzing, and reporting project milestones, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions proactively.

Communication & Collaboration Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and field personnel. Capable of articulating technical and operational expertise to executive leadership and project partners.

Analytical & Decision‑Making Strong analytical and numerical abilities for data‑driven decision‑making and project evaluation. Proven problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to anticipate issues, assess alternatives, and implement effective solutions.

Professional Attributes Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and personable, with strong time‑management capabilities and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver’s License.

Physical and Environmental Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a significant part of the day, move around the office and campus, and lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Travel Requirements Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time to project sites, corporate office, vendor meetings, and other business locations.

Salary Range – $200,000 – $215,000
