Customer Relations Call Center Specialist (Mortgage Servicing)

Location: Fort Worth, TX | Remote – US – MUST LIVE IN THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX AREA Compensation & Schedule • $20.00–$25.00 per hour • Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM • Temporary Assignment – through February 2026 (potential to extend) ROLE IMPACT As a key member of the mortgage servicing team, you will serve as the first point of contact for homeowners with questions about their loans. Your role is critical to maintaining trust, ensuring accurate servicing, and delivering a smooth customer experience during important milestones in the homeownership journey. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Respond to high volumes of inbound calls related to loan servicing, account questions, and payment concerns • Provide clear, accurate guidance to resolve issues such as escrow analysis, payoff requests, and account discrepancies • Research account histories and collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely resolutions • Ensure all interactions meet regulatory, operational, and data privacy standards • Manage customer information updates, credit dispute responses, and formal data access requests MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 1+ years of experience in mortgage servicing (required) • 1+ years working in a high-volume contact center • Strong communication and active listening skills • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and resolve customer concerns with professionalism • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with loan servicing systems CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) • Microsoft Office Suite • CRM / Contact Center Tools • Escrow and Loan Servicing Databases PREFERRED SKILLS • Hands-on experience with payoff processing and escrow calculations • Working knowledge of mortgage servicing guidelines and compliance standards • Ability to handle confidential borrower data with discretion and accuracy By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
