EOS Hospitality is hiring: Accounting Manager in Myrtle Beach

Overview

Accounting Manager role at EOS Hospitality. The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. This position supports accounting operations for the resort complex, contributing to strong accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and improve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing bank and other reconciliations.
• General cashiering and tracking house banks.
• Reconcile payroll and resolve any errors.
• Assist with month-end closing process including uploading journals and running reports.
• Reconcile and prepare balance sheets for the complex.
• Review, investigate, and analyze General Ledger variances; identify trends and collect information.
• Assist with year-end audit process and reporting.
• Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and improve operations and profitability.
• Assist employees and 3rd parties with accounting-related inquiries.
• Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage others; support sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate integrity; lead by example.
• Fill in and support teammates as needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform duties, special assignments and projects as requested by management.

Job Requirements

• Must have 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or payroll within the hospitality or similar industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent work experience required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
• Up to date with USALI knowledge.
• Experience with ProfitSword, Ottimate, and Birchstreet preferred but not required.

The role requires the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. The individual must have a high energy level and the ability to be creative and think independently. Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills are a must.
