As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Through 1-on-1 Online Tutoring, students receive customized instruction that helps them achieve their learning goals. Our platform is designed to match students with the right tutors, fostering better outcomes and a passion for learning.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Provide personalized 1-on-1 online instruction to students.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Invoice for your tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.
• Leverage AI-powered tools (Tutor Copilot) to enhance sessions with real-time support and engagement features.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in American Sign Language and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
