Job Description

Production Assistants Will Assist in All Areas of SoonerVision Including:

• Live Game Production: Big Screen, Television Broadcasts, & Webcasts
• Studio Show and Feature Production
• Postproduction (Editing, Motion Graphic Design)
• Scoreboard and LED Board Operation
• Engineering and Broadcast Operations
• Tape Archiving & Logging

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2025 term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

• Must attach Fall 2025 OU class schedule

Skills

• No prior experience or knowledge of the production process is required for Production Assistants.
• Individuals will be trained by Sooner Vision staff. They need only have a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and work hard. Good oral and written communications skills are a must.

Advertised Physical Requirements

• Operate Field & Robotic Cameras
• Operate Replay and Broadcast Graphics Systems
• Operate Digital Audio Boards
• Operate LED boards and Sound Systems
• Edit with AVID Media Composer
• Build graphics and animations in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Encode and Upload videos
• Monitor stats for broadcast talent
• Assist in Setup and Teardown of Production Equipment
