Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Analyst to lead quality assurance efforts across complex software systems. The ideal candidate is an expert in designing scalable test automation frameworks while ensuring thorough manual test coverage. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for mentoring and driving quality excellence across teams.
Responsibilities
Design & Strategy : Define, implement, and manage end-to-end test strategies that combine automated and manual testing approaches
Leadership : Lead test planning, effort estimation, and risk analysis for product releases and major updates
Automation : Build, enhance, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks—primarily using UiPath—to support continuous integration and delivery
Integration : Incorporate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable nightly and regression test execution.
Manual Testing : Execute complex manual tests for new features, integrations, performance benchmarks, and exploratory testing scenarios.
Collaboration : Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps teams to understand system requirements and align QA efforts with business goals.
Agile Participation : Actively contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help define quality-focused acceptance criteria.
Mentorship : Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior QA engineers and interns.
Quality Advocacy : Promote best practices for quality assurance, early defect detection, and shift-left testing principles.
Defect Management : Identify, log, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Reporting : Develop and maintain quality dashboards, metrics, and executive-level summaries to track and communicate QA progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, encompassing both manual and automated testing
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test strategies, and automation best practices
Hands‑on experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Circle CI).
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
