Job Description Manage all aspects of purchasing, receiving, warehousing and inventory of chemicals, expendables and spare parts. Manage Maintenance Employees / Contractors and all aspects of repair / preventative maintenance. Support plant operations by providing maintenance planning and scheduling to make effective use of company and contractor resources. Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
Manage Chemical, Expendable, and Spare Part inventories, purchasing and receiving
Work with Operations to coordinate receiving of chemicals
Obtain quotes and acquire materials, equipment, and services
Manage Maintenance Employees and Contractors
Plan, Schedule, and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) Activities
Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and track budgets
Qualifications
Associate Degree or higher (two-year college or technical school)
Minimum 4-years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in Chemical Manufacturing
At least one-year supervisory experience
Working knowledge of CMMS and Inventory Management Software
Additional Information
Bachelor Degree or higher
Prior experience in a Petroleum or Chemical Manufacturing Plant
Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Knowledge of local contractors and their abilities
Knowledge of local and suppliers of equipment, parts, and materials
Ability to work autonomously
Strong team working skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong customer mindset
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability and willingness to operate a fork truck
