KOCH Finishing Systems
Electrical Engineer – KOCH Finishing Systems. Design, program, and commission control panels for automated finishing equipment in a hands‑on team delivering innovative solutions in manufacturing automation. Location: Rochester Hills, MI.
Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical and control systems for automated equipment.
Program PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and other control devices.
Create and review schematics and layout drawings (UL508A compliance).
Develop specifications for electrical components and systems.
Test, debug, and troubleshoot control systems.
Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
Produce documentation including manuals, diagrams, and drawings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in controls engineering for manufacturing or automation.
Proficient with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 500/5000, Rockwell programming.
Knowledge of C, C++, or Python for embedded controls.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
UL508A certification required.
Strong problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
