to help launch operation initiatives at our new state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million‑square‑foot plant on over 200 acres will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles, including the N‑Series Gas, N‑Series Electric, and F‑Series Diesel trucks. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028. The site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof, creating over 700 new jobs. Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer (Facilities, Jigs and Tools) supports vehicle production by planning and executing the setup of equipment, jigs, and tools required for efficient assembly operations. The role designs standardized work processes that ensure mass‑production quality across a diverse range of vehicles and collaborates across departments to proactively address and resolve assembly issues, driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and throughput. Key Duties & Responsibilities

Plan and execute preparation of equipment, jigs, and tools for vehicle production. Design and implement work processes to support mass‑production quality for various vehicle types. Ensure manufacturing readiness for N‑Gas, N‑EV, F‑Diesel, and F‑EV models. Identify and provide solutions to potential issues in vehicle assembly. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges. Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality, safety, and efficiency. Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and process standards for assembly operations. Contribute to lean manufacturing practices and standard work development. Required Education, Training, & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related engineering role, preferably in automotive manufacturing. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Knowledge of quality control technologies (e.g., TQM, SPC). Strong understanding of design principles and technical drawing standards. Experience with assembling tools, fixtures, and jigs. Proficient in interpreting and applying dimensional tolerances. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency. Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Skilled in preparing mechanical drawings and plant layouts. Capability of developing and delivering training and presentations. Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Experience in OEM or automotive manufacturing. Familiarity with lean systems like TPS. CAD software proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks). Working knowledge of ERP or MES systems. Employment Details
