Job Description
This position is responsible for handling materials, shipping/receiving, and inventory management within a warehouse environment. The role involves storing raw materials for a manufacturing facility and managing finished products ready for delivery. The raw materials handled are valuable and potentially fragile, requiring cautious handling. Finished products are large electrical panels that may require careful forklift operation to ensure safe handling. The environment is productive with a focus on meeting deadlines while maintaining organization and proper storage of inventory.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to move larger control boxes.
Utilize RF scanners and demonstrate basic computer skills.
Lift and move boxes to assigned locations.
Accurately sort, pick, and kit inventory items and raw material for customer-specific jobs.
Process incoming materials by confirming part numbers and counts against purchase orders and shipping documents.
Stage materials in designated inventory locations.
Pull and identify parts from inventory.
Kit specified material and deliver to production floor or external suppliers in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Read bills of material, pull stock, and accurately transact material movement in the electronic inventory tracking system.
Assist in physical inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years’ experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator within a manufacturing warehouse.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not required.
Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners.
Skill in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts.

The facility is a medium-sized, modern, and clean environment with 60 employees. It is designed with comfortable temperatures and encompasses all stages of fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly from start to finish.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
