Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
My client is a nationally recognized commercial construction leader, with a distinguished portfolio of complex and high-stakes projects. They possess specialized expertise in the design and construction of Mission Critical facilities and Data Centers, delivering resilient, secure, and technologically advanced infrastructure for their clients.
Job Summary Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Mission Critical and Data Center construction to lead and oversee the most complex projects in the Oklahoma region.
Key Duties
Project Leadership & Delivery:
Own and direct the entire project lifecycle for large-scale, complex data centers from design through to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Safety & Quality Oversight:
Establish and enforce rigorous safety programs and mission-critical quality standards across all construction activities.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary liaison, managing relationships and expectations among the client, general contractors, design firms, and internal engineering teams.
Technical Management (MEP/CSA):
Provide deep technical oversight of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) work, specializing in data center requirements.
Commissioning:
Manage and ensure successful execution of the complex, multi-level L1-L5 commissioning process.
Financial Control:
Manage the overall CAPEX budget, including contract administration, procurement, change order negotiation, and cost risk mitigation.
Experience
Typically 8+ years of progressive experience in large-scale, complex construction project management, with a distinct focus on data centers or other mission‑critical facilities (e.g., energy plants, industrial facilities).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is often preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Complete understanding of the complex integrated systems within a data center, including cooling, power, fire suppression, and building management systems (BMS).
