Overview
A leading developer and operator of large-scale data infrastructure is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee the design and delivery of complex hyperscale data center projects. This is a pivotal role within a rapidly growing organization building next-generation digital infrastructure to support AI, cloud computing, and high-performance workloads. The ideal candidate will have a General Contractor (GC) or Owner’s Representative background and a proven track record managing full-cycle construction on mission-critical or large-scale industrial projects. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of data center construction, from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Coordinate with design, development, and engineering teams to align technical scope, budget, and schedules. Manage on-site execution, contractor performance, safety, and quality assurance. Review design drawings, cost estimates, and submittals to ensure constructability and alignment with project objectives. Lead regular site meetings and progress reviews, driving issue resolution and maintaining momentum toward project delivery milestones. Implement robust project controls for cost, schedule, risk, and change management. Build strong relationships with GCs, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure effective delivery and accountability. Support portfolio-level delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the construction program. Experience & Qualifications
7-12 years of progressive experience in construction management or project delivery, ideally within hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical environments. Strong background in MEP coordination, structural/civil works, and field execution. Experience delivering projects $100M+ in scale, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, procurement, scheduling (P6 or similar), and commissioning. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications (PMP, CM-Lean, etc.) are an advantage. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. The Opportunity
