Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
Act as the daily interface between production and the design office, ensuring smooth communication and workflow
Support both design and production teams in the development and optimization of components
Provide technical support to all involved departments during the manufacturing process of parts
Conduct material testing and prepare detailed technical reports
Make informed decisions regarding quality-related issues and maintain an overview of ongoing quality performance
Monitor and ensure quality standards once components move into manufacturing
Contribute to project work and actively participate in problem-solving sessions
Continuously drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Your profile
A degree in Engineering (or an equivalent technical qualification)
At least 5 years of experience in high-performance and autoclave-cured composites
Proven experience and strong accomplishments in CNC manufacturing processes
Solid understanding of metallic part manufacturing methods
Preferably familiar with CAD software (CATIA) and standard office tools such as Windows, Excel, and Outlook
A creative and analytical approach to technical problem-solving
Self-motivated, organized, and an effective communicator with excellent technical insight
Open-minded and flexible, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for results
Honest, reliable, and quality-driven in your daily work
Proficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
