The
Business Analyst
will elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, operational, and system requirements to support new initiatives and process enhancements. Working under general supervision, the analyst will serve as the liaison between business partners and IT stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are aligned with organizational needs. This position focuses on documenting workflows, facilitating detailed working sessions, and preparing for upcoming
system implementations , while translating complex requirements into clear
standard operating procedures (SOPs)
and training guides. Key Responsibilities
Conduct business analysis to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into functional and system requirements. Document
business workflows
and process connections across departments. Facilitate detailed working sessions to gather requirements and validate process design. Prepare for
new system implementations
by mapping data, testing processes, and identifying dependencies. Create and maintain
SOPs, training guides, and reference materials
for business users. Partner with IT and business teams to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables. Communicate, verify, and gain approval of requirements from stakeholders. Contribute to project documentation such as
project plans, estimates, readiness, and defect management reports . Required Experience
Strong experience in
business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation . Proven ability to
analyze complex business problems
and propose effective solutions. Experience preparing for or supporting
system implementations
and process changes. Familiarity with
procurement workflows
or
third-party risk management
processes preferred. Strong communication and facilitation skills to manage cross-functional sessions. Required Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred. Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
considered an asset. Required Skills
