Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a diligent and experienced Staff Accountant to join their team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is a temp-to-hire position and requires a professional who is skilled in accounting practices and can work effectively in an in-office environment.
Responsibilities
Performing GL financial review to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Preparing and posting journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
Assisting in month-end close processes, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Managing 1099s and ensuring they are prepared and filed correctly.
Utilizing Sage Software for various accounting tasks, with preference for candidates with prior experience.
Collaborating with other team members to maintain smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Proficiency in Sage Software is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Work Hours The Staff Accountant position is full-time, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Benefits The position offers a competitive hourly rate, with a pay range of $31.25 to $38.46 per hour. Additional benefits will be discussed upon hiring.
Additional Details This position is 100% in-office, located in North Scottsdale, Arizona. The role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team environment, providing valuable experience in the field of accounting.
