Application Architect
with a strong foundation in
software engineering and hands‑on coding . The ideal candidate has at least
10 years of total professional experience , including
3+ years in an Application or Solution Architect capacity . This individual will work closely with application architecture and development teams focused on
API and UI development , primarily serving factory operations. While not a coding role, it requires
hands‑on coding knowledge and experience
with languages such as
Java, C#, or Python
to effectively review, guide, and mentor development teams. The Application Architect will collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions, create architectural roadmaps, and solve technical challenges for factory systems. This position offers a strong likelihood of conversion to full‑time based on performance. Key Responsibilities
Drive full stack solution design based on modern architectural principles such as microservices, distributed computing, and event‑driven architectures. Collaborate with domain architects, product owners, and development teams to develop effective solutions that align with business goals and timelines. Support the factory business by architecting solutions that address system issues, improve efficiency, and maintain operational continuity. Ensure high standards for scalability, reusability, maintainability, and performance across all developed applications. Lead the identification and implementation of software design patterns and reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise. Support operations teams with root cause analysis and preventive maintenance strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to ensure system integrity and enable cross‑team knowledge sharing. Collaborate closely with technical leads to maintain consistency in design principles and delivery execution. Partner with leadership to define technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance. Requirements
10+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development with proven success delivering enterprise‑grade solutions. 3+ years of experience as an Application or Solutions Architect, designing large‑scale applications using modern cloud‑native technologies (AWS preferred). Strong, hands‑on coding background in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python (hands‑on knowledge required even if not actively coding). Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and full‑stack application frameworks. Experience with AWS (2‑3 years minimum) and knowledge of DevSecOps and InfoSec principles. Demonstrated expertise in designing reusable components and shared libraries for enterprise‑wide use. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to mentor and guide developers on system design, best practices, and maintainability. AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) is highly desirable. Interview Process
Prescreening Test: 12 multiple‑choice questions (MCQs). 1st Round: 1‑hour coding test (Java, C#, or Python) via MS Teams. 2nd Round: 1‑hour System/API design interview via MS Teams. 3rd Round: 1‑hour managerial interview via MS Teams. Seniority level
