Academic Innovation Program Coordinator

Position Type: Full‑Time, Regular (Full‑time)

Responsibilities Simulation & Lab Support

Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating simulation activities.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation technology and equipment.

Prepare props, costumes, and documentation for scenarios; role‑play as needed.

Set up and clean up simulation environments before and after sessions.

Maintain inventory and ensure proper usage of lab equipment.

Provide routine cleaning and maintenance of lab facilities.

Support students and faculty during simulations and debriefings.

Technical Operations

Provide technical support for simulation software, hardware, and A/V systems.

Develop proficiency in operating and troubleshooting simulation equipment.

Run simulation equipment during sessions, including computers and A/V systems.

Administrative & Programmatic Support

Coordinate with staff, faculty, and stakeholders to support simulation training.

Assist with travel planning, documentation, and expense reporting.

Provide administrative support: scheduling, agendas, and meeting logistics.

Maintain accurate displays and update lab activity calendars.

Perform data entry and record‑keeping tasks.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience coordinating simulation‑based or experiential learning programs in academic or training environments.

Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, meeting coordination, travel planning, and documentation.

Proficiency with simulation technology, AV systems, and basic troubleshooting.

Ability to manage inventory, maintain lab equipment, and oversee proper usage of simulation tools.

Skilled in collaborating with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to support training and educational initiatives.

Comfortable training others on equipment use and demonstrating lab capabilities.

Detail‑oriented with experience in data entry, calendar management, and maintaining accurate public‑facing displays.

Commitment to continuous learning through workshops, conferences, or technical training.

Anticipated Salary Range Anticipated salary to begin between mid $40,000's to mid $50,000's, commensurate with experience.
