Responsibilities
Managing the administrative processes associated with admission, registration, enrollment, and recruitment of students to their programs. Develops and maintains Slate queries for recruitment and application tracking. Responsible for course building, registration, scheduling, and textbook assignments each semester. Responsible for student record keeping and data entry and analysis; academic planning and implementation of department programs and policies. Oversees STELLIC for degree planning, student advising, and graduation clearance. Updates and maintains students information in Graduate Student Tracking systems and departmental databases. Develops reports and analytics to inform recruitment, retention, and curricular planning. Prepares data summaries to support accreditation and strategic planning initiatives. Oversees the workflow for departmental social media platforms. Coordinates with department staff, faculty and committees in the planning, advertising, and assistance in department and public events. Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to interpret academic program requirements and provide advice. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Knowledge of academic resources available to students. Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions. Knowledge of university admissions processes. Experience working with Slate and/or STELLIC systems. Experience working as an advisor
