Key Skills and Responsibilities
Culinary Expertise:
Supervise and assist in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations.
Leadership and Supervisory Skills:
Lead, motivate, coach, and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service.
Financial Acumen:
Manage food costs, budgets, and maximize cost/production ratios to optimize financial performance.
Organizational Skills:
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen, work, and storage areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Problem-Solving Ability:
Anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Communication Skills:
Clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with supervisory experience required.
Education:
Prefera2-yearcollegedegreewith3ormoreyearsofrelatedexperience,ora4-yearcollegedegreewithatleast1yearofrelatedexperience.
Attributes:
Must be effective in handling stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity.
Additional Requirements:
Compliance with certification requirements may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
