Responsibilities
Lead regional and global level supply chain optimization within the Americas region.
S&OP efforts within the Vegetable Seeds portfolio of products.
Collaborate across all regions and cross-functionally to develop plans to optimize performance globally.
Develop and execute production and purchase plans in support of inventory targets, customer service goals and manufacturing efficiencies for imported materials.
Meet inventory targets based on the financial cash flow and reliability service objectives of the business group.
Recommend and pursue appropriate disposition of returned, damaged, aged and off-spec inventory with marketing or plant personnel as required.
Monitor sales forecasts vs. actual sales and inventory levels for deviation from plan initiatives and develop corrective action.
Define and participate in projects targeted to specific opportunities in Supply Chain Management.
Spearhead efforts to further customer relationships by collaborating and optimizing with key stakeholders in marketing and sales.
Qualifications
Self‑starter with production planning, import planning, and operational background; leadership skills combined with excellent teamwork and communication.
Experience: master scheduling, distribution planning, SAP required; experience in seed planning supply chain environment preferred; strong analytical skills; Excel expert level.
Education
BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is required.
MBA and/or master's degree in operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years in supply chain/scheduling roles within global, complex business environment.
Proficient with SAP (or equivalent) system.
Experience in seed supply chain or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
Expert level analytical skills with Excel queries, pivot tables, etc.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively at corporate levels across functional environments.
