Valuation Services – Senior Associate or Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join their growing Valuation Services team. This individual will play a key role in reviewing third‑party appraisals for audit support and providing consulting valuation services related to tax planning, financial reporting, and litigation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Review third‑party valuation reports to support audit and consulting engagements
Scope, plan, and oversee the day‑to‑day execution of multiple, concurrent valuation projects
Ensure quality control and accuracy of client deliverables while effectively managing engagement risks
Manage and strengthen client relationships through clear communication and responsive service
Prepare and finalize valuation reports with clear, concise, and professional documentation
Perform valuations for financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, tax compliance, and strategic planning purposes
Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the valuation practice
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
5+ years of experience in business valuation or a closely related area
Experience valuing intangible assets, complex securities, and share‑based compensation
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including familiarity with Binomial or Monte‑Carlo methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Proven project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
Relevant professional certification such as ASA, CFA, ABV, or CPA preferred
